Key Responsibilities

Spearhead extensive cloud initiatives. Serve as the primary contact for engagement teams, offering both subject matter expertise and project management skills. Engage in the design and execution of compliance monitoring and enhancement activities to uphold adherence to internal security policies and relevant laws. Contribute to the development of cloud program management, service delivery models, and strategic planning. Create and evaluate reports and presentations tailored for both technical and executive audiences. Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical and consulting capabilities. Oversee project progress and manage risks while keeping stakeholders informed about developments and anticipated results. Utilize industry insights to pinpoint engagement and client service challenges; relay this information to the engagement team through written and verbal communication. Collaborate closely with the engagement manager to co-lead and manage various aspects of engagement delivery. Ensure the delivery of high-quality client services, producing exceptional work products within set timelines and budgets. Assist in the formulation of client cloud and security strategies, architectural visions, roadmaps, and planning efforts. Conduct cloud configuration and maturity assessments with clients. Document requirements and ensure effective communication with technical teams. Aid in designing compliant cloud infrastructures and solutions based on client specifications. Translate client needs into actionable tasks for the engineering team. Provide guidance across various technology stacks in leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Collaborate with potential clients to identify opportunities, define engagement scopes, and cultivate relationships.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering and architecture, including requirements definition, architecture development, and systems integration. 5+ years of experience in supporting cloud architecture, design, implementation, operations, and automation in AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP platform capabilities and services (Associate Cloud Architect, Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Security Engineer). Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to think critically and balance security needs with operational requirements. Capacity to work swiftly, efficiently, and accurately in a dynamic environment. Bachelor's degree or higher in a related Information Technology field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience supporting clients within a professional services framework. Project management experience for individual and team initiatives, ensuring timely task tracking and delivery. Experience with cloud-based networking solutions (Palo Alto, CheckPoint, Cisco ASAv, F5, etc.). Expertise in serverless, microservices, and contemporary application architectures. Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, or CISA. Familiarity with configuration baseline standards like CIS Benchmarks & DISA STIG.
