Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Cynet Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

This is an entry-level position that requires a strong foundation in radiologic technology and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography
  • Position patients for procedures, ensuring accurate and safe imaging
  • Operate radiographic equipment, including X-ray machines and computed tomography scanners
  • Assist and educate students during clinical rotations
  • Adjust techniques to minimize patient radiation exposure
  • Report malfunctioning equipment and maintain cleanliness per infection control policy
  • Verify patient identifiers and ensure proper clinical orders prior to procedures
  • Ensure patient privacy and comfort, and demonstrate competence based on patient age
  • Organize schedule, time, and priorities to meet designated time frames, using critical thinking skills
  • Explain procedures using AIDET to minimize patient anxiety
  • Address patient questions and involve physicians when necessary
  • Participate in orientation and training of departmental employees
  • Maintain high-quality image standards, check equipment functionality, and manage imaging data in PACS and RIS
  • Restock supplies, maintain cleanliness, and assist with patient transport and positioning
  • Perform patient charging activities promptly, and apply appropriate shielding and immobilization devices
  • Lend knowledge and assistance to others and perform clerical duties to ensure service continuity
  • Maintain productivity rate, adhere to regulatory standards, and participate in call duties when necessary
Requirements:
  • ARRT Radiography certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to function independently under pressure
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Understanding of anatomy and pathology in radiology
  • Competency in diagnostic radiology and patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
