About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Austell, GA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury, and ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and coils on the table that slides inside the MRI scanner, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
  • Inject contrast media as required to enhance image quality.
  • Set technical parameters, observe image data on computer monitors, and recognize abnormal images.
  • Respond to life-threatening situations and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accepted professional guidelines.
  • Deliver quality patient care in a professional manner, prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
