Job Summary

The WIC Certifier/Nutrition Technician is a vital member of our team at the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, responsible for assessing the program eligibility and nutrition risks of pregnant, post-partum, and breastfeeding women, infants, and children under 5 years of age.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess program eligibility and nutrition risks of clients
  • Certify clients for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
  • Perform clerical, administrative, and nutrition education duties
  • Assist the Coordinator of the WIC program
Requirements
  • One year of experience in nutrition, health, or child care related field preferred
  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Must be able and willing to participate in continuing education and training
