Pye Barker Fire & Safety is a leading fire, life safety, and security company seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector.

This role involves performing building sprinkler inspections, testing devices, recording results, and generating reports. Key responsibilities include assisting the Lead Inspector and/or Inspection Manager in collecting data and generating necessary paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough and accurate inspections of building sprinkler systems.
  • Test and record results of sprinkler control panels, devices, and system functions.
  • Generate completed Sprinkler Inspection Reports and download information into the Palm handheld device.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings and perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent with acceptable experience.
  • NICET II certification preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, customer service orientation, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using test equipment, Microsoft Office, and Palm unit operating systems.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
