Job Overview

Edward Jones is seeking a dynamic and energetic leader to join our Core Risk department. As a Risk Management Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of divisional risk processes in support of our Enterprise Risk Management Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Digital, Data, and Operations critical process owners and stakeholders to define, assess, identify, and mitigate risks outside of firm appetite.
  • Ensure the integrity, completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of risk data, in addition to executing risk programs.
  • Provide leadership with recommendations for enhancements to overall divisional risk execution and ERM Program.
  • Understand and advise team on division processes, historical risk results, firm policies/programs including all Enterprise Risk Management Program Framework and Standards.
  • Assist Business Owners in ensuring policies, standards and procedures are consistent with ERM policies and standards.
  • Stay informed on risk industry and educational/development opportunities.
  • Monitor open high risks and ensure past due action plans are escalated to divisional leadership. Ensure evidence and remediation documentation is adequate and challenges business risk owners on action plan effectiveness.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to increase divisional risk management acumen and understanding of Enterprise Risk Management Program.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience
  • 5+ years of industry or position-related experience. Previous experience as a leader or similar leadership experience preferred.
