Extrusion Operator

We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join our team at PacMoore. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating extrusion machines to produce high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor equipment operation, gauges, and panel lights to detect deviations from standards and adjust gauges, PLC's, and other operational controls to correct deviations.
- Perform various lab techniques and sampling to ensure product quality.
- Hook up CIP lines to cyclones, transitions, and fluid beds properly.
- Record gauge readings, test results, and shift production on quality and production documentation.
- Transport materials and products to and from work areas, manually or by pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain a sanitary condition of all processing equipment, utilizing chemicals, automatic, and manual cleaning equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and understand computer screens.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and perform a variety of math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions).
- Ability to read instructions and safety information in English and work in a culturally diverse work environment.
Exposure to constant or intermittent noise, dusts, chemicals, and allergens that can affect the respiratory system, eyes, or skin. Safety gear, including hard hats, is required for bump protection and to prevent exposure to potential contaminants.
