In this role as Medical Instrumentation Specialist - Decontamination and Sterilization Lead at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills, you will play a vital part in ensuring that medical instruments and equipment are properly decontaminated, cleaned, sterilized, and maintained for use in patient care processes.

As a leader in our Perioperative Services team, you will be responsible for:

  • Decontamination and Reprocessing: Ensure that all medical instruments and equipment are properly decontaminated and reprocessed according to established protocols to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
  • Sterilization: Oversee the sterilization process to ensure that all equipment is properly sterilized and ready for use.
  • Infection Control: Develop and implement policies and procedures to prevent infection and maintain a sterile environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Leadership: Mentor and train new staff members on decontamination and sterilization procedures, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they meet expectations.

This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
