Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Engineer, Property to deliver advanced risk assessment solutions for internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will perform thorough on-site risk assessments, generate detailed risk assessment reports, and collaborate with the underwriting team to achieve preferred risk selection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site risk assessments and operations reviews to identify risk mitigation approaches and provide customers with risk improvement solutions.
  • Generate detailed risk assessment reports using proprietary tools and systems to relay conditions and provide recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to achieve preferred risk selection and manage account risk portfolios.
  • Deliver risk engineering consultation to customers in the form of insurance risk surveys, risk improvement recommendations, and loss mitigation proposals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Property Risk Engineering (field and account engineering).
  • Strong understanding of property insurance and risk management for a broad range of commercial businesses.
  • Team player with strong business sense, communication skills, and client service mindset.
  • Experience in account engineering or managing risk engineering service vendors preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office products).
  • Ability to travel (up to 20%).
