Job Summary:

The Packer will be responsible for packaging materials and products manually, following work instructions specified for each product or part. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pack and process finished materials and move them to appropriate staging areas within the warehouse.
  • Update the company operating system to perform movement of material and any other functions required to perform job duties.
  • Visually inspect materials, products, and containers at each step of the packaging process.
  • Record information such as Serial Number, weight, time, and date packaged.
  • Communicate any issues with the Packing Lead and/or Supervisor to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • No previous experience required.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions in English.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs preferred.
  • Ability to accurately perform basic data entry information when processing packed parts and product.
Working Conditions:

The Packer will work primarily standing (90+ % of the shift) with the exception of lunch and break periods. Shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours. The ideal candidate will be able to lift and/or move tooling, parts, containers, and materials up to 40 pounds.
