About the Role

Crown Equipment Corporation, a leading manufacturer of lift trucks, is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Crown and other makes of lift trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex issues with lift trucks, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service van and inventory, ensuring that all necessary tools and equipment are readily available.
  • Process paperwork and documentation after each job, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitudes, with knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record, with the ability to safely operate lift trucks.
  • Previous experience in lift truck repair, welding, and knowledge of testing equipment is highly desirable.
