Construction Site Manager

Best Roofing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and enforce subcontractor quality of work to meet Best Roofing standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of seams and penetrations, ensuring all work is completed without temporary fixes.
- Regularly inspect tie-ins to maintain structural integrity.
- Provide effective job site management by enforcing Best Roofing's housekeeping standards.
- Manage the daily inventory of Best Roofing materials and equipment.
- Coordinate daily communication with clients, tenants, and inspectors to ensure minimal disruption.
- Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for consultants and city inspectors.
- Act as the daily onsite liaison for subcontractors, addressing their needs and ensuring adherence to project plans.
- Provide daily documentation of project progress through pictures and videos.
- Ensure proper equipment and resource management.
- Maintain company equipment and assigned vehicles to Best Roofing's standards.
- Coordinate with the Construction Manager to schedule crane and dumpster switch-outs.
- Supervise project safety setup and ensure daily execution of safety protocols and compliance.
- Enforce subcontractor adherence to Best Roofing's standards, including apparel rules and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety huddles and ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
- Record daily work hours using AboutTime software.
- Compile and submit detailed reports, pictures, and forms on compliance, safety, and project progress.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
- Provide guidance and support to subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to prevent project delays.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably within commercial roofing.
- At least 1 year of experience in a management or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of construction practices, materials, and equipment.
- Good math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and plan for unforeseen challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to maintain positive client relationships.
- Ability to provide clear instructions and follow up in a timely manner with subcontractors, team members, and clients or tenants.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain detailed records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to upholding company values and promoting a culture of safety and quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, subcontractors, and clients to achieve common goals.
- Willingness and ability to ascend ladders and use other means to access roofs, work at heights, and variable slopes.
- Willingness and ability to move and transport items weighing 50 pounds or less.
