Job Summary:
Northside Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Atlanta, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of medicine. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our Infusion Team, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, in accordance with Northside Hospital's philosophy, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, working collaboratively with the Registered Nurse and other healthcare professionals.
- Render care to patients in diverse clinical settings, including medical infusion, and contribute to the hospital's goal of improving patient outcomes.
- Participate in the Licensed Practical Nurse – Nursing Excellence Track Program (L-NEXT) at Northside Hospital, with opportunities for career advancement through education and certification.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- 1 or more years of experience as an LPN.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in medical infusion or a related specialty area.
