Role Overview

This is a Full-Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer position that involves communicating and building relationships with customers to fulfill merchandising needs. The role requires stocking store shelves, maintaining or changing displays, and ensuring the availability of Mondelēz products.


Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for representing Mondelēz in front of store employees, working closely with sales representatives to optimize product visibility and construct promotional displays. This includes carrying out in-store visits according to Mondelēz' DSD Merchandising Steps, ordering product via iPad Tablet for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions, and ensuring leading brands are well-represented and stocked through implementation of Mondelēz' guidelines.


Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees and work closely with sales representative to optimize visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and to construct promotional displays.
  • Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz' DSD Merchandising Steps.
  • Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in stock conditions.
  • Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among others) are well represented, stocked, and maintained through the implementation of Mondelēz' guidelines.
  • Ensure Sales Representative's negotiated plans with store managers are being followed and communicate any issues with Mondelēz' management team.
  • Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure the most efficient in-store service.
  • Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
  • Demonstrate positive, and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly compensation rate starts at $17.00 based on relative experience, and there are opportunities for additional income through a 10% target incentive bonus plan with monthly and quarterly earning opportunities. Other benefits include a 401k Savings Plan, paid Time Off (PTO), and medical, dental, and vision benefits packages available from start date with the company.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and have a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance. You should also be able to drive your personal vehicle to various store locations, perform hard work in a fast-paced environment, meet defined physical activities like repetitive lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs, and occasionally push and pull over 50 lbs. Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus.
