Key Responsibilities
Are you organized and detail-oriented? As a Mobile Plant Supervisor, you will collaborate closely with the Plant Manager to coordinate production and maintenance activities.
  • Oversee and coordinate a team of employees; this role includes hands-on supervisory responsibilities.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance, including disassembly, overhaul, assembly, and adjustments of mobile and stationary equipment.
  • Manage inventory of tools and parts for designated tasks.
  • Complete maintenance assignments promptly to meet production targets.
  • Maintain accurate records and spreadsheets regarding all equipment repairs.
  • Ensure repairs are executed according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance on all plant motorized equipment using various tools and machinery.
  • Install and replace components such as bearings, motors, and pulleys.
  • Perform significant repairs on crushers, screens, and conveyors.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn about hydraulic systems.
  • Execute additional mechanical and maintenance tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Experience in cutting and welding is essential.
  • Willingness to learn how to operate crushing and mobile equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, particularly with conveyors, screens, and crushers.
  • Experience in open-pit mining operations and aggregate products is necessary.
  • MSHA training is advantageous.
  • Physical Requirements: ability to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, twist, climb, balance, bend, kneel, reach, grasp, squat, and perform repetitive motions. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
