About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced attorney to join our team as a Lead Fleet Attorney for Emerging Technologies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage cutting-edge legal work and make history with Amazon's legal team.

Key Responsibilities

You will be an integral part of the business teams you support, serving as lead counsel on various matters, including negotiating strategic technology transactions, fleet procurement, and other commercial deals; acting as product counsel for emerging fleet technology; and advising on fleet deployment, safety, and regulatory compliance and policy issues.

Delivering Results
  • Negotiate strategic technology transactions, fleet procurement, and other commercial deals
  • Act as product counsel for emerging fleet technology

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. 2+ years of legal experience
  2. Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a mix of corporate law firm and in-house experience (ideally in a start-up or other rapid growth phase), who can demonstrate sound judgment in fast-paced, ambiguous situations, and who possess excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines.

Additionally, strong written and oral communication skills, strong analytical and computer skills are required.

What We Offer

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $195,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
