Job Title: Cloud System Administrator – IT Operations Tools and Services

Location: Remote – Negotiable

Job Type: Full-Time (40+ Hours)

Reports To: IT Operation Tools and Services Lead

Role Summary:

The Cloud System Administrator plays a crucial role in our IT Department, ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based systems. This position is based in a remote setting, with occasional nationwide travel. The primary focus is to provide top-notch support and innovation to all business applications, while maintaining and enhancing the performance, security, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Azure Active Directory and ensure seamless user authentication.
  • Monitor cloud system performance to identify potential issues before they become critical.
  • Implement security measures to protect cloud solutions and conduct regular audits to assess compliance and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with support teams and users to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cloud services.
  • Use tools to monitor cloud service performance and availability, ensuring optimal operation.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of cloud configurations, processes, and changes for future reference and compliance.
  • Facilitate application discovery and onboarding processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Manage existing, legacy, and potential software applications, streamlining or automating manual procedures as needed.
  • Support new application integration efforts and provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 IT support, both onsite and remote.
  • Collaborate with peers across the IT organization to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Develop innovative solutions to uncommon problems and stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing.
  • Respond to technical needs 24/7 and travel nationwide up to 35%.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience can be substituted for specific degree.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, SharePoint, Office 365, Zendesk, and MDM software platforms.
  • Must be comfortable with multiple OS ecosystems (Microsoft, Apple, Android, etc.).
  • Experience in Vulnerability management is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide innovative solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and user support.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to take lead on unexpected application-specific problems and prioritize appropriately.
  • Must have a passion for customer service and problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, peers, leadership, customers, and internal/external partners.
  • Willingness to travel up to 35% nationwide.
  • Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
