The University of Kentucky College of Medicine Markey Cancer Center and Department of Internal Medicine/Division of Medical Oncology is seeking a Board-Certified/Board Eligible Medical Oncologist to join the Department of Internal Medicine as an Assistant or Associate Professor. We are looking for an academically focused clinician who is enthusiastically committed to teaching, patient care, and patient-oriented research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the clinical research mission of the Markey Cancer Center through various roles including development and supervision of clinical protocols, accrual of patients, and participation in regulatory oversight programs for clinical research.
  • Join a team of experienced medical oncologists and researchers to advance the field of oncology and improve patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical trials and research studies.
  • Collaborate with other departments and institutions to advance the mission of the Markey Cancer Center.
Requirements
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
  • Eligibility for Kentucky medical licensure.
  • Completion of internal medicine residency and fellowship training in Medical Oncology.
