Position Overview

Your role will involve the upkeep of Sundt-owned facilities, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards. This includes conducting preventative maintenance and repairs on various office systems and equipment, such as electrical and plumbing systems, drywall, and painting. You will also be responsible for ordering supplies, coordinating with vendors, interpreting blueprints, and overseeing vendor activities while adhering to safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and report major maintenance issues.
  • Ensure cleanliness of exterior areas, including parking lots and walkways.
  • Rearrange office furniture as needed, with heavy lifting involved.
  • Carry out drywall repairs and painting tasks.
  • Perform minor repairs on electrical systems and appliances.
  • Conduct minor plumbing repairs.
  • Execute preventative maintenance on various building systems and equipment.
  • Provide guidance on equipment and facility maintenance.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar maintenance role.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power equipment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Highly organized with effective communication abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed shoes, gloves, and safety glasses.
  • Frequent reaching above shoulder height and below waist level.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, or bending.
  • Ability to use telecommunication and electronic devices for communication.
  • Compliance with all safety standards and procedures is mandatory.
  • Occasional climbing of stairs and ladders.
  • Frequent use of hands for grasping, lifting, and handling objects.
  • Regular interaction with colleagues and clients throughout the workday.
  • Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods during a shift.
