Patient Access Representative

Compensation:
$23-26/hour
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Thursday – 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- Friday – 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming calls
- Patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Managing the documentation of care plans
- Assembling patient information packets
Qualifications:
Completion of high school education along with specialized training or courses in a relevant field, such as secretarial studies or medical office administration, is required. A solid understanding of medical terminology is essential. Proficiency in typing and computer skills is necessary, including familiarity with software applications like email, Word, Excel, and electronic health records (EHR). Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities are a must. Excellent customer service skills are crucial for this role. An associate degree is preferred.
