Chief of Colorectal Surgery Opportunity

Hartford HealthCare (HHC) is seeking a Board Certified General Surgeon with fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery to lead our growing colorectal program at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Fairfield County.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of clinical experience in colorectal practice, leadership skills, and a passion for team building and strategic programmatic growth initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and leading a growing colorectal program
  • Teaching and mentoring surgical trainees
  • Participating in quality, safety, and education initiatives
  • Collaborating with the Chair of the Department of Surgery on community outreach and clinical redesign projects
  • Participating in the educational and administrative activities of HHC's Digestive Health Institute
