We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Community Council of Idaho.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the clinic maintains a high standard of pharmacy practice, adhering to professional ethics and federal/state regulatory agencies. This includes providing in-service training for pharmacy personnel and other clinic staff, as well as performing the duties of a pharmacist, including dispensing prescriptions and counseling patients on their medications.
Responsibilities:- Assure the clinic maintains standard of pharmacy practice equal to or above those accepted by professional ethics and federal/state regulatory agencies
- Provide in-service training for pharmacy personnel or other clinic personnel as related to pharmaceutical issues
- Perform the duties of a pharmacist, including dispensing prescriptions and counseling patients on their medications
- Review charts per OBRA requirements
- Assure the maintenance and safekeeping of pharmacy records
- Utilize and supervise pharmacy technicians as appropriate, with the pharmacist assuming final responsibility for work performed by the staff
- Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited school or college of pharmacy
- Idaho State Pharmacy Technician license
- Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Must pass a background check
- Experience in retail pharmacy
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Evidence of no communicable disease
