Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Paralegal to join our team in the Tri-County Region Public Defender Office in Lewiston, Maine. The successful candidate will provide support to multiple attorneys and perform case preparation, investigative, and information gathering tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation and research
  • Communicate with court officials, law enforcement, and other stakeholders
  • Manage documents, records, and data
  • Provide administrative support to the team
Requirements
  • Training or experience in office and administrative support work
  • Ability to research complex legal issues and analyze problems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
