Key Responsibilities
  • Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Ensure the maintenance of precise workpapers to substantiate general ledger balances.
  • Analyze financial data to verify accuracy and adherence to GAAP standards.
  • Supervise internal controls to guarantee that documented procedures are adhered to.
  • Manage the accounts payable function effectively.
  • Support the annual financial audit process by preparing necessary documentation for external auditors.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant accounting experience.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience.
  • A valid Driver's License is mandatory.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP is essential.
  • Must exhibit high motivation and attention to detail.
  • Practical experience with accounting software is necessary.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Ability to maintain a positive demeanor and effective time management skills.
  • Capacity to uphold confidentiality regarding proprietary information.
