In order to bolster our exceptional teams who create outstanding products and drive our expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Lead based in USA.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Lead will be tasked with delivering guidance and direction to teams of non-exempt personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide continuous feedback regarding individual performance through both formal assessments and informal discussions. Engage in and initiate projects aimed at process enhancement and cost reduction. Manage human resource needs for the department effectively. Assist in the financial planning of the department and oversee departmental expenditures. Communicate the daily operational plan and address any production or customer service challenges. Identify material shortages and collaborate with purchasing to resolve any supply issues. Monitor and identify bottlenecks in production. Report any downtime and alert relevant resources. Collaborate with maintenance teams regarding equipment issues. Track time for new product introductions, pre-production, and rework activities. Ensure effective communication with the opposite shift to maintain workflow. Update departmental communication boards regularly. Adhere to quality metrics and take action if performance indicators fall below established targets. Serve as the primary contact for addressing situations where scrap is generated in any process.Qualifications:
An Associate's Degree, vocational or technical training, or equivalent experience is typically required. A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is generally expected.Benefits:
