Join AbilityPath as a Senior Program Educator
The Senior Program Educator is responsible for delivering dynamic instruction that enhances participant services. Additionally, this role includes providing guidance and curriculum assistance to Community Instructors, Interns, and volunteers.
COMPENSATION: $23-$25/hour

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Program Manager with daily operational tasks
- Facilitate training and onboarding for new staff members
- Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction to participants to help them achieve their objectives; instruction may take place in community settings, on-site, or virtually.
- Implement appropriate modification strategies to address challenging behaviors and support behavioral plans to enhance engagement
- Assist with administrative duties such as tracking participant attendance and service logs, managing budgets, and conducting vehicle checks
- Oversee Case Management tasks including conducting annual assessments, supporting Person-Centered Planning meetings, and developing Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
- Help participants with daily personal hygiene
- Supervise and assist participants during volunteer opportunities, paid work, classes, and community activities
- Provide travel training for participants using public transportation and ensure their safety during community outings
- Transport participants to events and activities as needed
- Drive agency vehicles when required
- Perform other assigned duties

- Degree in a relevant field
- Specialized certification
- Relevant work or volunteer experience
- Valid California Driver's License/ID for at least two years if under the age of 25
- Clean driving record (if applicable)
- Proof of negative TB test results
- Verification of occupational physical clearance
- Pass a criminal background check
- Minimum age of 18 or job permit clearance
