Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at FUJIFILM North America Corporation - Graphic Communication Division. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical assistance in the installation, repair, and maintenance of our toner production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor critical accounts and participate in support activities to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Analyze and evaluate equipment performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Install and remove equipment and systems as required, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Work with the scheduler team to manage and perform preventative maintenance on trained equipment.
  • Develop strong business relationships with customers and client personnel.
  • Complete all required reporting procedures related to equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Perform administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Account for all time and activity by recording information through the proper tracking system.
  • Monitor and manage the return of all parts.
  • Attend training classes to develop necessary knowledge and skills to service GSD supported equipment.
  • Communicate technical and escalated issues to the Regional Service Manager and Technical Service Manager.
  • Work weekends and overtime as needed for installations, service calls, and training.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Prior experience repairing or installing complex electromechanical equipment.
  • General understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
  • Ability to follow written and/or diagrammed instructions.
  • Computer skills with emphasis on operating systems and hardware.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Valid state driver's license (Real ID compliant) and passport.
  • Ability to travel extensively.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and training.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities.
