Job Responsibilities:

  • Work in a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects.
  • Perform roadway geometrics, drainage, development of plans, construction estimates, subsurface utility engineering, and coordination of utilities.
  • Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications, and calculations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • Good team player with great communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Minimum 1 year doing highway and roadway design preferred
