Job Description

This position involves leading projects in our Transportation Team as a Senior Roadway Designer. As a key team member, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and shared-use trails.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analysis of transportation infrastructure
  • Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects
  • Lead client relations, stakeholder management, and sub consultant coordination
  • Coordinate and work within a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff
Requirements
  • Professional Civil Engineering certification (P.E.)
  • 10+ years experience in Roadway Design
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Knowledge and experience with Microstation OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software
  • Experience with DOT's plan preparation procedures and standards
