KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensuring a Safe Environment:

  • Recognizes that safety is paramount and consistently practices safe behaviors, assisting management in maintaining a secure environment for all.
  • Displays a strong presence by greeting customers at entrances/exits and throughout the sales floor, while monitoring for safety concerns.
  • Maintains clear pathways to emergency exits by removing hazards and clutter.
Building Strong Teams & Partnerships:
  • Delivers exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and respectful manner.
  • Treats all individuals with dignity and respect.
  • Exhibits professionalism and courtesy at all times, recognizing team members through company recognition initiatives.
  • Participates in meetings and training sessions to educate staff and foster partnerships.
  • Performs additional tasks as needed to support loss prevention efforts.
Upholding Company Standards:
  • Represents the company brand positively at all times.
  • Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with company dress standards.
Preventing Theft and Fraud:
  • Observes entrances/exits and the sales floor for suspicious activities, identifying potential theft indicators.
  • Collects data on theft trends and communicates findings to management effectively.
  • Follows company protocols for responding to theft incidents.
  • Implements best practices to enhance productivity while minimizing unnecessary actions.
Reducing Operational Losses:
  • Increases awareness among staff regarding effective practices to reduce operational losses.
  • Monitors and verifies proper checkout procedures for customers and staff.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in retail supervision or similar roles is advantageous.
  • Training in loss prevention or security is preferred.
  • Possession of an active Security Guard License is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with team members.
  • Excellent customer service capabilities.
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
  • Must comply with all relevant laws and regulations for security roles, including background checks and drug testing.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Consistent punctuality and regular attendance are required.
  • Ability to spend the majority of working hours standing, walking, and moving throughout the store.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing over 25 lbs.
  • Regular bending, stooping, or crouching may be necessary.
  • Other specific qualifications may be required for certain assignments.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
