  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and monitor security alerts through SIEM systems, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
  • Investigate security incidents, identify root causes, and lead remediation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Infrastructure, R&D, and business units to formulate effective security strategies.
  • Review and innovate existing security protocols, updating or automating processes as necessary.
  • Engage with global security team members to share insights and tackle security challenges collectively.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness within the development and operations teams through training and process integration.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in crafting and deploying security frameworks for cloud services and SaaS applications.
  • Strong expertise in Linux and public cloud security, particularly with Azure and AWS.
  • Familiarity with SIEM technologies and their application in security monitoring.
  • Proficient in coding (NodeJS, scripting, Terraform) to automate security measures.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards such as CIS benchmarks, STIG, and NIST guidelines.
  • Experience in securing Salesforce applications.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across diverse teams to achieve security objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a senior or lead security role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
  • Ability to convey technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A background in software development is advantageous.
