Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments of students' presenting concerns and provide treatment recommendations.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and complete documentation of all service contacts.
  • Develop and implement programmatic interventions addressing students' psycho-social mental health needs.
  • Facilitate groups and provide clinical consultation to others as needed.
  • Collaborate with medical providers and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain current, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal law, professional ethics, and CMHC policies.
  • Coordinate referrals between UHS/CMHC and university or community service providers.
  • Provide clinical training and supervision to social work or psychology interns, as well as pre-doctoral psychology practicum students.
  • Supervise interns' supervision of practicum students and offer preceptorships and apprenticeships for interns.
  • Participate in prevention and outreach activities, as needed.
  • Comply with all CMHC, UHS, and UT policies, procedures, and guidelines.
