Ardmore Home Design is a leading provider of luxury home décor solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineering Professional to join our team.

As a key member of our technology department, you will play a major role in our company's technology transformation and growth. You will be responsible for creating applications to streamline and automate functions and processes throughout the organization, allowing for improved response times and assisting in improved decision making.

The ideal candidate will have a 4+ year degree, ideally in computer science/MIS, or related qualifications or experience. They will also have the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with business stakeholders, as well as solid project planning and coordination experience.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a relaxed work environment with minimal overtime, 3 weeks paid time off and 6 paid holidays, and 6% annual 401k contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute against project plans and deliver commitments within a professional and high-paced engineering environment.
  • Drive improvements in software engineering practices.
  • Experience designing software architectures for scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and performance based on personal observation and user feedback.
  • Collaborate with project team members to determine alternative solutions and estimates for data, processes, interfaces, controls, and outputs to fit.

Requirements:

  • A 4+ year degree, ideally in computer science/MIS, or related qualifications or experience.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Solid project planning and coordination experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • An analytical mind with excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to think outside the box when necessary.
  • 2+ Years developing Microsoft .NET using Visual Studio. C#, Web Forms, HTML, CSS Stylesheets, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML and Web Services.
  • 2+ Years database design, query normalization/optimization, referential integrity and logical database architecture.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
