About the Role

Aequor Technologies is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Labor and Delivery setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor vital signs, fetal heart rates, and contractions to assess the progress of labor and respond promptly to any complications or changes in condition.
  • Assist physicians and midwives during labor and delivery, administering medications, monitoring pain management, and providing emotional support to mothers.
  • Prepare the labor and delivery rooms, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for use during deliveries.
  • Document all patient care, procedures, medications, and observations in electronic health records (EHR), maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide discharge education and instructions to new mothers and their families, including care for themselves and their newborns.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of labor and delivery procedures, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to manage emergency situations and provide compassionate care in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Active [STATE] Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse or in a similar role.
