Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Tridant Solutions Inc. in the Torrance, California area.

About the Role:

The Labor and Delivery Nurse will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with the family-centered maternity care model. This includes assisting the doctor during childbirth, educating new parents on infant care, and upholding the philosophy of maternity services.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
  • Assess and manage high-risk antepartum patients with multiple diagnoses
  • Participate in maintaining a safe patient care environment
  • Demonstrate leadership skills by directing personnel and establishing collegial relationships
  • Support the mission of the Patient Care Services Division
Requirements:
  • National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) certification
  • Valid nursing certificate, BSN, or MSN degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid unencumbered RN license for the State
  • Current vaccinations and health clearance certification
  • Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
  • BLS certification
  • NPR certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics
  • Previous experience with starting IVs
  • At least 12 months of recent and relevant consecutive Nursing experience and 12 months of acute care experience in this specialty (Labor & Delivery)
