About the Role

Arcadis U.S. is seeking a highly skilled Water Wastewater Engineer to join our Resilience Water Team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support to our engineers and contribute to the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater distribution and collection systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise in water and wastewater treatment, including design and construction of water treatment and distribution systems and/or wastewater collection and treatment systems.
  • Support project leadership and task management, including preparing, reviewing, and approving project drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations and Arcadis requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including local municipalities in Georgia, such as the City of Atlanta, DeKalb County, and Cobb County.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • PE License in Georgia or ability to obtain within one year.
  • Strong technical engineering skills, with experience in project leadership, task management, and technical writing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • Technical expertise and experience with water/wastewater treatment projects, including alternative project delivery.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, WaterCAD, InfoWater, SewerCAD, and ArcGIS.
