About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing geotechnical engineering, construction observation, and design assignments under the supervision of experienced engineering personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform geotechnical engineering, construction observation, and design assignments
  • Assist with processing field data, performing geotechnical analyses, report and drawing preparation
  • Assist in preparation of engineering proposals
  • Periodic travel to project sites to oversee field investigations, construction QA/QC activities, audits, or other activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) from a U.S. college or university with an ABET-accredited civil/geotechnical engineering program
  • At least five (5) years of relevant engineering experience on CCR and/or mine waste disposal facilities, energy infrastructure, heavy civil site development, and/or major water resource projects
  • Active Engineer-In-Training (EIT) status, with Professional Engineer (PE) certification a plus
  • Demonstrated educational and relevant work experience showing strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
