Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Assistant Staff Project Manager to join our team at ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will assist staff with field tasks supporting geotechnical projects and contribute to the success of our company.

Responsibilities
  • Assist staff with field tasks, including clearly documenting site observations for construction materials testing (CMT) and geotechnical field work.
  • Perform research on local geologic history and assist with supervision of field work performed by drilling/test pit crews.
  • Classify soils and keep project staff informed of changing site conditions and/or additional testing requested on project sites.
  • Assist with preparation of drilling packages and obtain utility clearances.
Requirements
  • Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required.
  • No experience required, previous internship or co-op in related field preferred.
  • Professional license is not required in this position but is necessary to progress in career.
  • G.I.T. or E.I.T. or ability to obtain within 12 months preferred.
