Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at SwedishAmerican. As a Mammographer/Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammographic imaging and patient care services at defined levels to patients.
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
  • Provide Breast Sonography imaging.
  • Prepare for and assist the physician in procedures, including breast biopsies, localizations, and breast aspirations.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Certification by ARRT in Radiography (RT), Mammography (M), and Breast Sonography (BS).
  • Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency).
  • CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of mammography experience and 6 months of breast sonography experience.
  • 3 years of mammography experience and 1 year of breast sonography experience.
