We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Revenue Cycle Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tasks of moderate to difficult complexity relating to both hospital and physician accounts. This includes handling a large volume of inbound calls, making outbound calls for self-pay follow-up, and assisting patients with requests for information and resolving issues. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in billing, bookkeeping, or accounting and a high school diploma or equivalent. You will be expected to maintain a high level of poise and professionalism in dealing with patients, communicate clearly and professionally in both oral and written communication, and exercise good judgment in determining the urgency of patient needs.Key Responsibilities
- Resolve billing concerns and address inquiries related to insurance matters, assist patients with MyChart, and establish a rapport with patients.
- Review accounts to determine insurance coverage, obtain and correct missing or inaccurate information, discuss patient responsibility, and educate patients on claim processing, deductible, coinsurance, and co-pays.
- Contact payers to inquire about account status and escalate problem accounts to the appropriate area(s).
- Maintain accurate documentation of billing activity, ensure compliance with billing regulations, and report any suspected compliance issues to departmental leaders.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent OR post-high school diploma / highest degree earned.
- 2 years of experience in billing, bookkeeping, or accounting.

$52,000 - $70,000 per yearBenefits
