Position Available: Facility Maintenance Attendant
The Facility Maintenance Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of communal areas, managing waste disposal, snow removal, and performing additional light tasks as directed by their supervisor. Our Facility Maintenance Attendants play a crucial role in presenting our properties positively and providing residents with prompt and courteous assistance for their custodial needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the leasing office, model units, and shared public areas in a tidy, clean, and appealing condition.
- Oversee all exterior grounds, including sidewalks, public pathways, staircases, and garden areas, ensuring they remain neat and presentable.
- Assist in preparing vacant apartments for rental in a timely manner; help with appliance installations and modifications.
- Collect and dispose of trash and debris from community spaces.
- Clear snow during winter months and remove any safety obstructions year-round, such as trash, branches, and leaf piles.
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks and repairs in accordance with company standards and timelines.
- Uphold company customer service standards by responding to resident inquiries and collaborating with them to resolve issues effectively.
- Adhere to all relevant Mac policies and procedures, including operational and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, particularly Fair Housing laws.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Prior experience in a custodial role is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to identify cleaning supplies and chemicals.
- Capability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds over varying distances, with the mobility to utilize necessary equipment and access restricted areas or heights exceeding 8-9 feet.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb (stairs, ladders, etc.).
