Job Summary

The Volkert Internship Program is designed to provide undergraduate students with a comprehensive learning experience that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills. Our program is ideal for students majoring in civil engineering, structural engineering, construction management, computer-aided design (CAD), or civil engineering technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of projects related to civil engineering and construction management
  • Conduct research and analysis to support project design and development
  • Collaborate with experienced professionals to gain insights into industry best practices
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions
  • Present project findings and recommendations to leadership
Requirements
  • Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in a degree-seeking program related to civil engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of sophomore standing (high school graduate with freshman standing may be considered if involved in a STEM or leadership program)
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week (plus overtime, if necessary)
