Role Summary:

As a Crew Member at Syctron, you will be integral in ensuring the safety, enjoyment, and satisfaction of our guests. This versatile role encompasses responsibilities in cashiering, amusement floor operations, café service, and event hosting. You will represent Syctron, tasked with delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining a clean, safe, and enjoyable atmosphere for all visitors.

Primary Duties:

Cashier Responsibilities:

  • Process ticket sales and provide information regarding our facilities and entertainment offerings.
  • Promote additional services or packages to enhance the guest experience.
  • Verify waivers and collect necessary fees from customers.

Amusement Floor Duties:

  • Communicate rules and expectations to guests entering the venue and guide them to appropriate areas.
  • Monitor guest activities for safety, ensuring compliance with established rules and regulations.
  • Stay informed about safety protocols, communication procedures, and emergency evacuation plans.

Café Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items, including assembling pizzas and other menu selections.
  • Sell food, beverages, and snacks to patrons.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the café area.

Event Hosting Duties:

  • Assist families and event planners with birthday parties and special occasions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable event.
  • Coordinate with guests and oversee party activities.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Document attendance, sales, receipts, reservations, and maintenance activities.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, assembling and disassembling as required.
  • Inspect equipment for wear and damage, performing minor repairs or maintenance as needed.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, attractions, facilities, work areas, and grounds.
  • Verify, collect, or issue tickets to patrons, ensuring compliance with ticketing policies.
  • Assist patrons entering or exiting the venue.
  • Ensure ongoing safety and cleanliness to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service or entertainment-related roles is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are crucial.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
