Role Summary:
The Intelligence Operations Writer plays a crucial role in supporting the Intelligence Battle Lab (IBL) at Fort Huachuca, AZ. The IBL's mission is to conduct experiments that align with the Army Futures Command (AFC) campaign of learning, proof of concept, simulation, modeling, and modernization of intelligence forces. This position involves providing military intelligence expertise and design support for various experiments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend all IBL-related events and create comprehensive executive summaries detailing topics discussed, participants, key takeaways, action items, and timelines.
- Participate in experimentation planning meetings and assist in drafting experimentation reports.
- Develop and refine white papers concerning IBL Experimentation and Science & Technology topics based on IBL events and input from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Publish articles on IBL-directed topics in Military Intelligence professional publications, incorporating SME feedback.
- Ensure that all written documentation is uniform, adheres to established guidelines, and conveys timely, accurate, and relevant information.
- Translate complex technical concepts into accessible language for decision-makers.
- Review and incorporate feedback from stakeholders, addressing any disputes related to comments received.
- Provide updates to the Government regarding document progress and the rationale for including or excluding specific comments.
- Submit critical comments for resolution, ensuring that contentious issues are addressed appropriately.
Work Schedule: The applicant must be available during core hours from 0900 to 1500 or as determined by the Responsible Authority. The facility may close during emergencies or administrative directives.
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to various locations within and outside the continental United States may be necessary to fulfill contract obligations.
