Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Instructor to teach history and political science courses at North Carolina A&T State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory and advanced level courses, attending training and review sessions, and participating in program development and assessment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach face-to-face and/or online courses in history and political science
  • Attend training and review sessions to stay current with departmental and university requirements
  • Participate in program development and assessment to ensure high-quality educational experiences for students
  • Provide academic advising to students and support student organizations
Requirements
  • Master's degree in History or Political Science at time of application
  • 1-3 years of teaching experience in the subject area
  • Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching introductory and advanced level courses
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
