Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Same Day Surgery Program at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health. This is a per diem position that requires a high level of autonomy and flexibility.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans of care for patients undergoing same-day surgery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient unit operations.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote informed decision-making and self-advocacy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Assume authority and accountability for nursing care, delegating tasks as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) with 1 year of experience, or Associate Degree (ADN) prepared nurses with 2 years' experience.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required upon hire.
- ACLS Certificate required upon hire in Endoscopy, Tele-ICU, Day Surgery Center at CGP (Manchester), Life Safety, and Cardiology-Echocardiography.
