Civilian Corps is seeking a skilled Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Fort Carson, CO. As an Advanced Practice Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in urgent and emergency settings. Your expertise will be invaluable in making decisions concerning acute care needs of patients and ordering or interpreting lab results.
Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the Position: This Direct Hire Solicitation offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to work with the Department of Emergency Services, Evans Army Community Hospital. With a Recruitment or relocation incentive MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates, this position comes with a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth.
The successful candidate will have a graduate or higher level degree from an accredited professional nursing educational program in Family Nurse Practitioner and a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States; and must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination.
Responsibilities:
* Diagnoses disease, illness, disorder or injury, institutes treatment of patients.
* Evaluates the urgent or emergent care aspects of patient care.
* Provides a full range of urgent care and emergency services or crises interventions in the absence of the physician.
* Makes decisions concerning acute care needs of patients and orders or interprets lab results.
* Prescribes medications and supervises rotating nurse practitioner and physician assistant students rotating in the assigned clinical care area.
Qualifications:
* One or more full years of professional nursing experience which includes evaluating and providing care in an urgent care or emergency setting;
* A graduate or higher level degree from an accredited professional nursing educational program in Family Nurse Practitioner;
* Current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States;
* Passed the National Council Licensure Examination.
