Job Summary:As a Merchandiser at Borden Dairy, you will play a key role in driving sales and customer satisfaction through effective merchandising strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail operations and a proven track record of success in merchandising and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute merchandising plans to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct store surveys and market analyses to stay up-to-date on customer trends and preferences.
- Negotiate with customers to secure additional shelf space and promotional opportunities.
- Ensure that product displays are visually appealing and meet company standards.
- Reset displays and report any issues or opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in merchandising or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer experience in Microsoft Office required.
Physical Demands:
- Position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching, climbing, and fine hand manipulation.
- Extensive driving may be required to service customer base.
