Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high acuity infant care in a school setting. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will be responsible for implementing physician-prescribed plans of care, conducting patient assessments, and coordinating care with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Implement physician-prescribed plans of care for high acuity infants
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as needed
- Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
- Provide health promotion, teaching, and training to family members
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, and obtain co-signature of Case Manager on all verbal orders
- Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and/or changes in client condition
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
