Healthcare Private Duty Nurse LVN Position

Aveanna is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LVN/LPN to provide high-quality care to our patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with patients, providing continuous care and support to help them recover and thrive in the comfort of their own homes.
Our Private Duty Nurses make a positive and lasting impact on their patients' lives by providing personalized care, education, and support to patients and their families. We match our nurses to their patients based on skill, age, health condition, and acuity level, ensuring that each patient receives the best possible care.
We currently have patients and openings in various locations, including Arlington, Mansfield, Ft. Worth, and surrounding areas. As a Private Duty Nurse with Aveanna, you will have the flexibility to choose from a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, to fit your schedule and lifestyle.

Responsibilities of the Private Duty Nurse LVN/LPN role include:
- Implementation of physicians' prescribed plans of care
- Patient assessments and coordination of care
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Compliant, timely documentation of care provided in our system of record
- Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
- Responsible for accepting and writing verbal orders from physicians as required and for obtaining co-signature of Case Manager on all verbal orders
- Follow-up with physician, client, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and/or changes in client condition
Qualifications for the Private Duty Nurse LVN/LPN role include:
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
